Livegenic Welcomes Leo and Serene to the Team

Livegenic is pleased to announce its continued investment in its expanding global presence with the recent addition of Leo Gavelas as Global Head of EMEA, and Serene Zacharie as Director of EMEA Enterprise Sales.

Leo has over 40 years of experience as a senior global Insurance and Banking executive, including acting as Insurance Head for Citibank Asia Pacific running the 3,500+ employee bank in the Philippines, and as the EMEA Bancassurance Head, running a $1.2bn insurance unit. He has lead offices across the world, including London, Singapore, Manila, Athens and New York.

At Livegenic, Leo will focus on relationship management and product innovation to drive continued process improvement for clients globally. With a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Lancaster University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and Economics, Leo will operate new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Visual Identification. We look forward to adding his considerable experience and relationships globally to the Livegenic family.

Serene comes to Livegenic with 20 years of global experience in Insurance and General Management. This includes several years at Cigna, where she ran automation, IT, and digital technology processes for both front-end and back-end process automation training programs across the EMEA region.

With an MBA and Human Resources Degree from Alba Graduate Business School, Serene will be focused on customer satisfaction and improving our digital insurance platform as Livegenic continues to grow.
